ABOUT BRITTANY A. BATEMAN
Brittany A. Bateman is a digital media artist with a passion for storytelling. She excels in graphic design, branding, social media, marketing and videography. Her photographic portfolio is a unique showcase of scientific, studio, fine art, and portraits. Her ultimate goal is to create visually stunning and emotionally compelling content that connects with people on a profound level.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Brittany A. Bateman holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Photographic Communications from Rochester Institute of Technology. This unique degree taught her fine art, studio, technical and scientific photography. The communications aspect taught her web design, graphic design, advertising, and printing principles. Her professional experience includes working in a volunteer position as a designer for the Ophthalmic Photographer Society creating promotional materials for their society, webinars, and for their annual and biannual meetings. Brittany spent some time as a technical photographer at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital where she also worked in a studio taking official studio military photos. She has also worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist for two businesses and was in charge of multiple social media channels, graphics, branding, business websites, and advertising materials. Currently, she works for a school division as the Coordinator of Digital Media and Design focusing on storytelling for 19 schools and the School Board Office through graphics, branding, videography, photography, and content creation for social media. This position has allowed her to explore more creative sides of design, photography and videography. Her passion is storytelling whether it is through graphics, visual manipulation, advertising, photography or videography.
